AAC Switches

Smoothie Button

Description: A low profile button, slightly angled towards the user.
Operation: Operating force of 120 grams. Active area is 75mm diam. Auditory feedback available, click on press. This is a momentary switch with a standard 3.5mm AAC jack.
Switch Type: Momentary switches are those that are only on, when being pressed. Most AAC switches are of this type and are used for most of our singing toys and to simulate a mouse click on a computer. Latching switches stay on, even once the switch is released, and require a second push to switch it off. They have limited uses, but are useful when needing a switch to stay on, like some of our motorised toys.
